Timeline Overview

The Battle of Austerlitz is played over 36 turns. From Turns 1–6, dense morning fog reduces all artillery range by –1 operational zone, shaping the early movements and restricting long-range fire. On Turn 7, Davout’s III Corps arrives on the French right flank, bringing up to 4 reinforcement units and shifting the balance as the battle intensifies. Starting from Turn 18, the Allied reserve artillery begins entering the battlefield, with up to 4 artillery units deployable per turn until their full allotment is reached. Throughout the scenario, both sides must follow the core reinforcement rule: no more than 4 units may enter the battlefield on any given turn. This creates a carefully paced, dynamic progression from fog-bound maneuvering to full-scale, decisive combat.
